Community Service

Dillon Public Adjusters is deeply committed to enriching our Cape Cod community. We partner with several outstanding local organizations whose missions align with our values: supporting veterans, fostering affordable housing, and promoting vibrant local commerce.

Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center

Since 1983, the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center (CIVOC) has served as a beacon of hope for local veterans and their families. They provide essential services—from mental health support, food pantry access, and transportation, to legal clinics and community outreach programs—ensuring no veteran is left behind.
Their programs include transitional and permanent housing, scholarships for veterans and their children, as well as unique events such as the CIVOC golf fundraiser, Stand Down for Veterans, legal clinics, and scholarship award nights.
CIVOC is located in Hyannis at 247 Stevens Street, Suite E, and is a trusted resource for Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod – Falmouth ReStore

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod builds affordable, energy-efficient homes across all 15 Cape towns, demonstrating a deep dedication to community health and stability.
Their Falmouth ReStore—located at 805 Gifford St. Ext.—is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. As a nonprofit home improvement store, it sells donated furniture, appliances, and building materials at affordable prices—with 100% of the proceeds funding local builds.
Volunteers receive on-site training, aiding both store operations and regional home-construction projects, furthering Habitat’s mission of fostering homeownership and self-reliance.

Nantucket & Falmouth Chambers of Commerce

As active members of the Nantucket and Falmouth Chambers of Commerce, Dillon Adjusters supports regional business growth, tourism, and local networking.
Although specific details were not provided, these chambers promote small business development, facilitate marketing opportunities, and host signature events. Our involvement demonstrates our commitment to economic vitality, professional collaboration, and the success of our fellow entrepreneurs on Cape Cod.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod (Home Builds)

Beyond the ReStore, Habitat Cape Cod builds, sponsors, and facilitates homeownership for families in need. They have completed over 180 homes, including recent partnerships in Falmouth, Brewster, and Bourne, with upcoming applications available from July 15 to September 15, 2025.
Their homes are built to Net-Zero standards, featuring solar panels, heat pumps, and energy recovery systems, which illustrate their dedication to providing sustainable and affordable housing solutions. Families earn equality while contributing sweat equity, forging strong bonds among both volunteers and homeowners.
